The Association for Women in Sports Media is introducing its 2026-27 board following an election.

All incumbents ran unopposed, while newcomers Jamie Hancock and Kate Yanchulis are joining the board as coordinators supporting student chapters.

Kristin Huckshorn and Michele Himmelberg were re-elected co-vice presidents of awards and scholarships, Iliana Limón Romero as vice president of convention and fundraising, Christina Long as vice president of digital content, Emily Leiker as vice president of social media, Maggie Vanoni as vice president of student programs and Meredith Perri as vice president of website.

Marisa Ingemi remains AWSM's president and Jenny Creech is the organization's board chair and treasurer.

The offices on the ballot carry one-year terms. The AWSM president serves a two-year term and was not up for re-election during this cycle. AWSM advertised a call for candidates and all those who applied were included on the ballot.
