ESPN the Magazine senior writer Mina Kimes will join the speaker lineup for the Association for Women in Sports Media’s summer conference – set for June 21-24 at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale in Arizona.

Kimes writes columns and features for the magazine, which she joined in 2014 after working as an investigative reporter for Bloomberg News and a features writer for Fortune magazine.

“We are excited to welcome Mina Kimes to the conference,” AWSM president Jenny Dial Creech said. “Mina’s versatility makes her one of the most interesting sports journalists in the industry right now. Her experiences will certainly inspire our members.”

Kimes also appears on several ESPN shows – including Around the Horn, Highly Questionable and First Take – as well as ESPN Radio. She is scheduled to speak at #AWSM2018 on Saturday, June 23.

Registration for #AWSM2018 is open through May 25. Prices are $250 (student members), $325 (professional members) and $650 (all nonmembers). Sign up here:

Rooms at the Hyatt are $149/night (singles/doubles) and the rate is good for two days before and after the conference – based on availability. The resort fee is waived for AWSM attendees on the nights of the program. Book your room here:
