The Association for Women in Sports Media is hosting a membership drive for new professional members during the month of October. We will offer prospective professional members a discount of $10 off the initial membership fee if they sign up to join AWSM between Oct. 1 and Oct. 31.

As a professional member of AWSM, you will receive:

- the member rate to the 2019 convention June 13-16 at the Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina in Tampa, Fla. We also offer convention grants for members who are potential attendees.

- networking opportunities at regional events organized by AWSM, or at events such as the NCAA Tournament or bowl games.

- access to AWSM’s job-alert emails. Employment opportunities will be emailed monthly to AWSM members.

- eligibility for AWSM Champions, a mentorship program that links young professionals with veterans in sports journalism and public relations.

Current members: We are offering an incentive to recruit new members. The member who recruits the most signups (minimum 10) during our October membership drive will receive a complimentary registration for our 2019 convention.
