CHIC SPORTS RADIO ANNOUNCES DEBUT SHOW LINEUP

chicsportsradio@aol.com CHIC SPORTS RADIO, the only show on the airwaves devoted entirely to women's sports, will debut on Friday April 8, 2005 at 9:00pm Eastern Standard Time on Sports Byline. CHIC SPORTS RADIO will be broadcast on Sports Byline USA Radio Network (www.sportsbyline.com) which consists of nearly 200 US radio stations and more than 500 stations in 177 countries of the American Forces Network. The show will also be heard on SIRIUS Satellite Radios channel 122. The guests scheduled to appear on the program include former NFL standout and Cincinnati Bengal running back, Ickey Woods. Woods who's known for his famous "Ickey" shuffle is the CO-owner and Head Coach of the Cincinnati Sizzle, one of the 36 teams playing in the 2005 season of the National Women's Football Association. Chandra Woods, Ickey's wife, plays for the Sizzle. How he made the transition from men's professional football to women's professional football and what he's got planned for his team makes for an interesting interview. Shari (The Shark) Stauch will also be a guest on the program. Stauch is the spokesperson for the Women's Pro Billiard Tour, and will give a report about the tour on a regular basis. She is also the CO-owner of Pool & Billiard Magazine which was founded by her and her father, Harold L. Simonsen, in 1983 in Chicago as a small newsletter. Stauch appeared in and was a special consultant to the production of The Color of Money (1987), with screen credits. In addition to Ickey Woods and Shari Stauch, the program will also include an LPGA update with Joel Lamp, the media relations coordinator for the LPGA. Lamp will be a regular guest on the show and will keep the listeners informed about the action on the women's pro golf tour. There will also be a regular weekly report on the National Women's Football Association which will feature NWFA correspondents Ahndi Coffey and Stephanie Godsey.
