Day rates:
Day rates include meals, programming and activities. Friday - $75; Saturday - $125; Sunday - $75. Please enter the appropriate amount in the payment area above.

 
Guest rates:

If you are attending a single event or bringing one or more guests to a single event, please note the number below. Please add any additional fees onto your registration payment.
Advance reservations are required for all guests by Monday, May 18.

Note: Friday's event Includes transportation to and from the National Constitution Center, entrance to the museum, museum store and special screening of Freedom Rising.

Crowne Plaza Philadelphia-Center City is the host hotel for the 2009 Convention. For reservations or more information, call the hotel directly at (215) 561-7500 or (866) 618-0410. Reference Association for Women in Sports Media to secure the special room rate. The room rate is guaranteed only through May 1.

Multimedia training track. At least one panel per session will include multimedia training. You are invited to bring your own laptop. Space will be limited and advance reservations are the only way to guarantee a seat. If you would like further details, check here. A MTT registration form will also be available online April 20.
A.M. Yoga classes (Saturday and Sunday)

The Philadelphia Convention organizers have selected the following additional activities. These outings will require your own transportation. Check if you are interested and more information will be provided.

Where:

Westin Bonaventure, Los Angeles. Reservations will be available online through the Westin’s site by mid-December. Check back for the rate code.

Program notes:

AWSM’s executive board will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday. Plan to be on site by 6 p.m. Thursday for the opening-night event at a can't-miss location downtown. The Pioneer Award luncheon will be held Friday afternoon. The AWSM Career Expo is set for Saturday afternoon.

Registration will be available online by mid-December. Day rates will be available. On-site registration will be $175 for students, $225 for members and $275 for non-members.

Hotel rate:

Parking:

Valet parking is available at the hotel for $16 (day) or $20 (overnight).

Internet:

There is no fee for Internet in the guestrooms.

Travel to LA:

We are pursuing airfare, rail and rental car discounts.

Primary airport: Los Angeles (LAX - 17 miles). Additional options: Burbank (BUR - 14 miles), Long Beach (LGB - 25 miles), Orange County (SNA - 35 miles), Ontario (ONT - 40 miles).

Rail: Amatrak service is available to Union Station, which is a little more than a mile away from the hotel.

Bus/Metro: The Westin Bonaventure is located within close proximity to several Metro stops. The DASH Bus also conveniently connects USC and the hotel.


Transportation:
