Chair of the Board

Vicki Michaelis has been the lead Olympics reporter and Denver bureau sports reporter for USA Today since 2000. A graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, she started her career at The Palm Beach Post in 1991. She has covered beats ranging from high school sports to Division I-A college football to the NBA, including a three-year stint as the Denver Nuggets beat writer for The Denver Post. An AWSM member since 1992, she also has served as state coordinator chair and president.
