Pioneer Award Coordinator

Rana L. Cash is the newsroom recruiter at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Rana previously worked as assistant sports editor at the Journal-Constitution, a newspaper she joined in 2003 as the Georgia Tech beat writer. Before moving to Atlanta, Rana covered the University of Texas and Southern Methodist for The Dallas Morning News, where she worked from 2000-2003. She spent 7-1/2 years at The Miami Herald after graduating from Florida A&M University. At the Herald, Rana held a number of beats, including the PGA tour, University of Florida, black college football and high schools.
