Marie Hardin is an assistant professor of journalism at Penn State. She is also associate director of the university’s John Curley Center for Sports Journalism and is director of the Center for Editing Excellence. Hardin teaches writing, editing and a sports, media and society course and conducts research related to issues of gender and ethics in sports journalism. Hardin has experience as a newspaper and magazine writer and editor. She has been a member of AWSM since 2004.
