Joanne C. Gerstner is an award-winning sports journalist and the owner/principal of Gerstner Media LLC. Her work appears regularly in The New York Times, Miami Herald, and other publications. She has been a staff writer/editor for The Detroit News, USA Today, PGA Magazine, Cincinnati Enquirer and other publications. Gerstner has been involved with AWSM since college, serving as president, chair of the board, Pioneer award coordinator and a state chair. She is a graduate of Oakland University and Northwestern University.
