Jenni Carlson has been a sports columnist and sports feature writer for The Oklahoman since 1999. A graduate of the University of Kansas, she started her career at The Kansas City Star in 1997. She worked as the first high school sports columnist at the Star before becoming the first woman to work as a general sports columnist at The Oklahoman. An AWSM member since 1997, she also has served as a state coordinator.
